Following on from their website, Better Things wanted to get the word out to all their contacts. So, they opted for a personalised launch email, which you can see above. I sent it out using my system to their contact list.

To launch their new brand, start-up agency Better Things wanted to integrate everything into their site: a blog, recent work, entries for other work they admired and their Twitter feed too. They also wanted it all with an innovative user-interface, with buttons to filter the type of content in view.

So now, each category can be filtered out but ‘unticking’ it, or can be instantly viewed on its own, by clicking the category name. When a category is viewed on its own, more posts of the same category are loaded in the background and then displayed below the existing content using some AJAX jiggery-pokery.

It’s not just nice for the end user though, it’s all content managed, which means they can blog and add work to their heart’s content.

Bold Aspect, as you may or may not have gleaned from other entries on this site, have created a few schools’ websites in collaboration with Antanova. To promote this to other schools and get some more on board, we created an email to go out to lots of schools in the London area (about 1,300 recipients).

You can see the end result above; it was a pretty successful campaign, so hopefully more schools’ websites will be appearing here before too long.

At the last minute, Campaign Works rang me up and said “We need an html email invite building and sending out – by tomorrow,” to which I said something along the lines of “crikey”.

We pulled out all the stops though and they sent me a lovely design which I was then able to turn into the email and get sent out. An enjoyable job.

Unfortunately, a confidentiality agreement prevents me from sharing the details of the site, but it’s been a pleasure to work on and develop since December 2008.

This school’s existing website was maintained by them using Dreamweaver. Not being web developers, they wanted to simplify things and so opted for this install of Wordpress. Now, their site is both easier to update and more professional-looking.

This job was undertaken through partner Bold Aspect, who provided a unified design for the school across both the web and print.

Along with partner Bold Aspect, we created a website for the school that would greatly simplify the process of adding or editing content. Previously, the school had used Adobe Contribute, which was something that did not work for them. Now, they have a great looking site with an easy-to-use system for uploading PDFs, editing content and adding news to the home page.

Working with design agency J2, we built www.imab.net, the site of the Independent Mortgage Advice Bureau. The first release of this site was in May, the lastest was in late October 08.

110 Park Street (limited life link) is a property website for one specific development. Pretty much a ‘micro site’, it has only about 5 pages and was a quick, but pleasant job.
